The Problem

Seats are easy to buy. Claude Code’s impact is hard to prove.

Usage is not impact

Claude Code activity tells you people use it, not whether delivery got faster or better.

Quality risk is hidden

More AI written code can mean more churn and rework that shows up weeks later.

Multi tool reality

Most teams mix tools. Measuring one in isolation hides the real picture.

FAQ

Questions engineering leaders ask

How does Waydev get Claude Code data?
Two ways: from Anthropic’s Claude Code usage report, read with an Admin API key, or from the OpenTelemetry usage metrics your Claude Code clients send to Waydev. Waydev then combines that usage data with Git metadata.
Do you read our prompts or code?
