Our team has worked really hard over the past few months, innovating Waydev to make managing your teams easier. We’re thrilled to introduce our latest updates, designed to enhance your experience and streamline your workflow:
Since the moment we started back in 2017, we realized that we’ve done a lot of work to improve the productivity of software engineering teams, and now we have a complete set of features in four categories of value: Health, Delivery, Planning, and Automation, all covering important aspects of your team’s performance.
We’ve created a new way to explore Pull Request insights, making it easier and more intuitive. You can now view everything in a single, dynamic interface without switching between multiple reports.
In the Overview section of the Pull Request Insights, you will see the following:
Clicking on any pull request will open our enhanced modal, offering deeper insights and details, covering everything from the Cycle Time of the pull request to the risk and all commits, reviews, comments, tickets and deploys associated to it.
The Collaboration tab provides an overview of your team’s collaboration, offering insights into the submitter-reviewer ratio, the number of reviews, and key metrics for both submitters and reviewers, allowing you to understand how your team works together.
The Resolution tab provides a map of all closed PRs and associated metrics, giving you insights into your team’s collaboration. By clicking on these metrics, you can open a detailed modal view of the pull request, allowing for easy visibility and access from anywhere within the platform.
Today, we’re excited to launch a new comprehensive feature in our Health category—Hygiene. This feature focuses on key aspects of your team’s adherence to best practices. Hygiene helps you assess whether your teams are properly tracking their work and maintaining high standards. It’s designed to provide valuable insights into your team’s commitment to best practices and continuous improvement.
Our platform now allows you to import teams from GitHub, linking contributors directly to their teams as they are in GitHub. This feature simplifies the process of setting up teams in Waydev, making it easier and more efficient for you.
Now, you can easily measure incidents in Waydev using your Jira tickets. By selecting specific rules and labels, you can identify and track incidents that affect your deployment process. Waydev uses this data to automatically calculate key DORA metrics, such as the Change Failure Rate (CFR) by identifying deployments that caused production failures, and Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR) by tracking the time to resolve these incidents.
